A woman was arrested for alleged child abuse after a young boy was found with bruising and abrasions.
On May 14, San Bernardino County deputies responded to a home on the 1000 block of Bailey Avenue in Needles regarding the possible physical abuse of a child.
Inside the residence, deputies found a 5-year-old boy who was “suffering from bruising and slight abrasions to his face.”
Following an investigation, the suspect, Tiffany Torres, 33, was located in the home and arrested for child abuse causing injury. Authorities did not release details on Torres’ connection to the boy.
The woman was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. She remains in custody on $50,000 bail and is awaiting a court hearing.
