Police were looking for four people Monday who assaulted, robbed and carjacked a man who was at a bar in San Bernardino last week.
The victim was at the El Patron Bar in the 25000 block of East Baseline (map) just before 12:30 a.m. on Friday when he was attacked by the four men, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release.
In addition to taking the victim’s personal belongings, the attackers stole his car and fled the scene, the Sheriff’s Department stated.
The unidentified victim had to be hospitalized following the attack. There was no word on his condition.
A short time after the robbery and carjacking, the victim’s vehicle was found damaged and abandoned in San Bernardino, according to the news release.
The attackers, described only as three Hispanic men and one white man, were wanted on suspicion of carjacking, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, the Sheriff’s Department stated.
